As Toastmaster, you prepare the agenda in advance and confirm all the roles for the meeting.


You start the meeting when given the stage or microphone by the Club President. You conduct the entire meeting as host or director, coordinate with all the other roles in a timely manner. You assume a leadership role in running the meeting smoothly and cohesively. The tone and feel of the entire meeting revolves around your performance.


At the end of the meeting, you return the stage or microphone to the Club President.


Tips and Reminders:

  • Share the agenda (paper or online link) early in the meeting

  • Remember to ask for written feedback for each Speaker
