Evaluator

EV

As Evaluator for an individual speaker, you first coordinate in advance with your assigned Speaker. You receive the Pathways project description from the Speaker. You may be asked to give a brief introduction of the Speaker. Alternatively, the TM of the day may do the introduction.

During the meeting, you listen to your assigned Speaker and prepare within a few minutes an evaluation speech to deliver when called upon by the General Evaluator. You also write feedback on the Pathways evaluation sheet for the Speaker, which can be done at a later time.

Upon wrapping up your evaluation speech, you return the stage or microphone to the General Evaluator.

Tips and Reminders:

  • Evaluate only the current speech, not details that you may remember of the Speaker in a previous meeting

  • Offer positives that you have observed, suggest some improvements, then wrap up with another positive
