As Speaker, you first coordinate in advance with the Evaluator assigned to you. You send over your speech information — your chosen speech title, the Pathways project, duration, and related details. This can be done in advance to help your evaluator prepare in advance. Sometimes your evaluator will introduce you, so prepare for it.
You deliver your speech when introduced by your Evaluator or by the Toastmaster. Every Speaker is a role model and club members learn from one another's speeches.
At the end of your speech, you return the stage or microphone to the Toastmaster.
Tip or Suggestion:
Pick a speech by finding something you really want to talk about. This helps channel and focus your enthusiasm during delivery of the speech.
