It's a good moment today to mention where we're at and some events we've reached.
Our hybrid meeting this week was just solid — more so than previously. It was our third hybrid (physical room combined with Zoom), so the logistical details are still sort of experimental. But we seem to have now gotten a good handle on the key issues. Everybody helped huge this time around. We had many contributing hands and minds focused on a shared goal. It was so nice. We utilized two webcams, two laptops, two wireless microphones, the large display, and all the traditional paperwork like old times. 13 attended, with seven in the conference room and six more online including a few guests. Everybody seemed to have gotten something positive out of the meeting.
As a club, we're now also fully sworn in with new officers. In fact, this morning, we received news that all of our officers have completed COT credits. That's quick! That's early! Kudos to the entire leadership team! It's a wonderful start to the new year.
And "First Day" was prophetically the recent meeting theme. Even the word of the day was "prophecy." Hopefully it's prophetic of good things to come.
Today is the 1st day of the month. Lunar new year (last week) is still fresh in the minds of some of us. We have new energy from new members and new officers. Then elsewhere, environmentally, we had some good replenish of seasonal rainfall. Even today's economic news is a milestone of sorts with the Federal Reserve causing some positive ripples. Inflationary pressures are confirmed to be easing. 2023 could be a good turn upwards.
